Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an experienced System Engineer – Windows to own enterprise Windows infrastructure and drive end-to-end, automation-first delivery. You will provision and harden servers across on-prem, Azure, and AWS, manage identity, and lead incident recovery in a global, regulated environment.

You will work in a hybrid/hub model with a focus on secure, scalable platforms and modern tooling, while collaborating across teams to accelerate the digital transformation and ensure production

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience with enterprise Windows Server in large-scale, global environments; pharma/life sciences background is a plus
• Windows Server engineering, Active Directory, Failover Clustering, IIS, PKI; cloud IaaS on Azure and AWS; PowerShell at an advanced level; IaC (Terraform preferred); ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB
• Soft ownership mindset, calm under pressure, automation-first instinct, avoids repetitive manual tasks
• AZ-800/801, AZ-104, ITIL 4, Terraform Associate or equivalent—valued but not mandatory
• Languages: English required; additional languages are a plus

Responsibilities

• Deploy infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep across on-prem, Azure, and AWS
• Automate post-provisioning configuration with PowerShell DSC, Ansible, or Puppet
• Own the full server lifecycle: provision, patch, harden, upgrade, and decommission
• Manage Active Directory and hybrid identity: domain controllers, GPO, Entra ID
• Drive patch compliance and remediation across the Windows estate with MECM/SCCM or Azure Update Manager
• Provide L2/L3 operational support, participate in on-call rotations, lead recovery during Major Incidents
• Build observability and AIOps: dashboards, alerting, self-healing via Datadog and Splunk
• Represent Windows changes at CAB with traceability and low risk
