Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Spain is seeking a Windows Server Specialist (f/m) to join the Infrastructure Hosting Server OS team. You will implement and operate Windows and Linux RedHat OS, supporting the Windows OS lifecycle to deliver automated, up‑to‑date server solutions for our application colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor the performance of the external run supplier with contract management.
• Identify and lead corrective actions for supplier performance gaps.
• Support Windows server standards and designs to meet customer needs.
• Implement latest Windows standards in the Spanish environment.
• Support customers in integrating our Windows solution during design and rollout.

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Windows Server Specialist (f/m) to join our “Infrastructure Hosting Server OS” department based in Getafe, Spain.

You will be part of an international team implementing and operating Windows and Linux RedHat Operating Systems. As part of the TDIHS - Server OS team, you will be involved in all steps of the Windows OS lifecycle aiming at providing efficient, automated, up-to-date Windows server solutions to our application colleagues.

Your challenges:

• Monitor the performance of our externalized run supplier, in conjunction with contract management (SLAs follow-up, invoices control, security patching level, problem management, …)

• Identify and lead the implementation of corrective actions in case of a supplier performance gap

• Support the definition of our Windows server standards and technical designs to meet our customer needs while targeting his highest possible value for money

• Implement in the Spanish environment the latest Windows standards and designs defined at our team level

• Support our customers in the integration of our Windows solution during their application design and roll-out phase

Your profile:

• Professional experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a Windows server system engineer or similar role

• Technical expertise: Windows OS, WSUS / MECM, KMS, Active Directory, VMware

• Basic Networking - LAN / WAN, TCP/IP

• Virtualisation and clustering

• Scripting: Powershell, Ansible (desirable)

• Automation: System Center, Ansible (desirable / opportunity to learn)
