Job summary

Vestas is seeking a finance-focused professional to own the financial architecture of its renewable energy pipeline across Europe. You will build and refine models, evaluate projects, and support high-profile M&A processes alongside country teams and senior stakeholders.

The role requires 1–3 years in renewable energy development or project finance, a Master's degree, fluent English, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 1–3 years in renewable energy development, project finance, infrastructure M&A, or a comparable analytical role.
• Sound financial modelling skills with experience with project finance models (a financial modelling exercise will be part of the selection process).
• Industry knowledge of wind project lifecycle (development through RTB and sale) and key value drivers.
• Some exposure to M&A processes and transaction workstreams is an advantage.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of another European language would be valuable.
• Attention to detail; ownership and accountability; strong commercial judgment.
• Agility; effective communicator; pragmatic under uncertainty; driven and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Financial modelling & valuation: Build and maintain models across development stages.
• Asset lifecycle updates: Update valuations as projects progress.
• M&A execution & process management: Prepare teasers, CIMs, and manage VDR and NDAs.
• Transaction support & closing: Coordinate Q&A, support SPA negotiation and closing.
• Commercial structuring & origination: Support feasibility studies, JVs, and DSAs.
• Portfolio & strategic analysis: Support prioritization decisions across markets.
• Stakeholder engagement & business partnering: Work with country PMs on value creation and budgeting.
