Job summary

Blockchain Ventureon is hiring a Web3 Portfolio Manager to oversee digital asset portfolio strategy, allocation, and risk monitoring in a remote Spain-based role that blends research, construction, and performance analysis across cryptocurrencies, DeFi, and blockchain infrastructure.

The successful candidate will develop strategies, evaluate assets through tokenomics, manage allocations, monitor risk metrics, and prepare investment reports while coordinating with teams to implement decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in portfolio management, investment research, asset management, or digital assets.
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction, diversification, and risk management.
• Familiarity with Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, DeFi, and blockchain infrastructure.
• Ability to build financial models and evaluate performance against appropriate benchmarks.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Based in Spain and legally authorized to work in Spain.

Responsibilities

• Develop portfolio strategies aligned with approved investment objectives and risk limits.
• Evaluate digital assets and blockchain projects through fundamental research and tokenomics analysis.
• Manage allocation, position sizing, liquidity reserves, and portfolio rebalancing.
• Monitor volatility, concentration, correlations, drawdowns, and counterparty exposure.
• Assess protocol, custody, and smart contract risks before recommending investments.
• Prepare investment recommendations, portfolio reviews, and performance attribution reports.
• Maintain documented investment decisions and coordinate implementation with relevant teams.

Role Description

We are hiring a Web3 Portfolio Manager to oversee digital asset portfolio strategy, allocation, and risk monitoring. This remote, Spain-based role combines investment research, portfolio construction, and performance analysis across cryptocurrencies, DeFi, and blockchain infrastructure.

Compensation

€75,000 - €105,000 gross per year, depending on experience and responsibilities.
