Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is expanding its Spain hub to deliver engineering design services across wastewater, water and sewer projects from Madrid and Seville. We seek a Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop mechanical designs, guide calculations, and support programme delivery with a focus on innovative, low-carbon solutions.

Required: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, 3 years' relevant experience, English at C1 level, ability to work periodically in the UK. Masters is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering is desirable.
• Proficiency level English (C1).
• Available to work periodically in the UK as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance across water and wastewater pipelines and treatment works.
• Direct, develop and supervise a design staff, providing technical and commercial guidance.
• Guide the delivery of pipelines, sewers and treatment programmes to budget, programme and quality standards.
• Produce and review engineering calculations, specifications, drawings and reports, proactively managing design risk.
• Deliver projects in close partnership with clients and contractors.
