Schneider Electric busca un/una Assistant Manager, Warehouse Operations para coordinar y optimizar las operaciones de almacén, asegurando manejo de inbound, almacenamiento, inventario y outbound con altos estándares de seguridad y calidad.

La persona liderará supervisores y personal, enfocándose en mejorar precisión de inventario, productividad y satisfacción del cliente, conectando con otros equipos de la cadena de suministro para una ejecución fluida.

Formación

• Experiencia en operaciones de almacén y gestión de cadena de suministro.
• Experiencia dirigiendo equipos, supervisores u operaciones.
• Conocimiento de gestión de inventarios, procesos de almacén y logística.

Responsabilidades

• Supervisar operaciones diarias de almacén, recepción, almacenamiento e expediciones.
• Gestionar recursos para cumplir objetivos de servicio, calidad y productividad.
• Liderar y entrenar a supervisores y personal de almacén para alcanzar metas.
• Asegurar precisión de inventario con conteos cíclicos y rotación de stock.
• Analizar métricas de desempeño y aplicar acciones correctivas.
• Impulsar iniciativas de mejora continua para eficiencia y costos.

As an Assistant Manager, Warehouse Operations, you are responsible for coordinating, directing, and optimizing warehouse operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate material handling across inbound, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and outbound processes. You lead warehouse teams through supervisors and frontline personnel, ensuring operational targets, service levels, and compliance standards are consistently achieved.

Your primary objective is to drive operational excellence by improving warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and developing team capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order preparation, shipping, and transportation coordination.
• Manage and prioritize warehouse resources to ensure service, quality, productivity, and cost objectives are met.
• Lead and coach supervisors and warehouse personnel to achieve operational and performance targets.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through effective stock management, cycle counts, reconciliation activities, and proper stock rotation practices.
• Monitor inbound and outbound logistics flows to support customer and business requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, security, environmental, and operational standards.
• Analyze warehouse performance metrics and implement corrective actions to address operational gaps.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
• Resolve escalated operational issues impacting inventory, service levels, transportation, or customer satisfaction.
• Support workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and performance management activities.
• Collaborate with transportation, procurement, manufacturing, planning, customer service, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution across the value chain.
• Contribute to supply chain risk mitigation and business continuity planning activities.

Leadership Scope

• Directly manages warehouse supervisors, team leaders, and/or operational personnel depending on organizational structure.
• Responsible for allocating resources, setting operational priorities, and monitoring team performance.
• Conducts performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning for direct reports.
• Makes independent day-to-day operational decisions within established policies and procedures.
• Leads implementation of operational improvements and change management initiatives.
• Escalates strategic or significant operational risks when appropriate.

Typical Experience Profile

• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, or supply chain management roles.
• Prior experience managing teams, supervisors, or operational leaders within a warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehousing processes, and logistics operations.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and operational KPI management.
• Demonstrated capability in process improvement, productivity enhancement, and operational problem solving.
• Good understanding of health, safety, quality, and compliance requirements in warehouse operations.

Positioning in the Organization

This role is typically an entry-level management position responsible for leading warehouse operations through direct supervision of personnel and/or frontline leaders. It has broader accountability than a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, including performance management, resource planning, continuous improvement leadership, and operational decision-making. The role focuses primarily on tactical and operational execution while supporting the achievement of departmental objectives.
