Dow Jones is seeking a VP of Product in Barcelona to set and execute the overarching product vision for the Dow Jones platform. You will lead a cross‑functional team of product managers, aligning engineering, design, and data to deliver high‑impact initiatives across multiple products and lines.

You will own end‑to‑end product strategy, drive innovation, and partner with executives to shape the business direction while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Formación

• 15+ years of product management experience leading vision and strategy for complex software platforms.
• Proven track record launching, scaling, and managing platform or enterprise software with measurable impact.
• Experience building and growing high-performing product organizations.
• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills using data and customer insight to influence executives.
• Strong technical and domain knowledge, integrating data sources and working with engineering and design.

About The Role

Reporting to the SVP, B2B Product, the VP of Product will set and execute the overarching product vision and strategy for the Dow Jones platform, integrating and leveraging the company’s extensive content, data, and functionality across multiple products and business lines.

This role leads and oversees a team of product managers, developing senior product talent and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration. As an executive influencer and autonomous leader, you will hold end‑to‑end ownership of the overall product strategy and its execution for a substantial segment of, or the entire, platform organization, exerting significant influence on the broader business strategy, financial outcomes, and long‑term direction.

You bring a passion for creating powerful, user‑friendly platforms that harness the full potential of an organization’s assets and deliver measurable value to customers and the business.

You Will

• Set and own the overarching product vision, strategy, and multi‑year roadmap for the Dow Jones platform, ensuring alignment with company‑wide business objectives and market opportunities.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing product organization, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
• Serve as the primary product partner to senior leadership and cross‑functional executives, aligning engineering, design, and data around high‑impact initiatives and strategic trade‑offs.
• Drive execution and operational excellence, overseeing prioritization, delivery, performance metrics, and budget planning to deliver measurable business and customer outcomes.
• Champion customer‑ and data‑driven decision‑making and technical/platform excellence, integrating customer insight, analytics, and technical considerations (architecture, scalability, integrations, data management) into strategy and roadmaps.

You Have

• 15+ years of product management experience, including leading and owning vision and strategy for complex, software‑driven platforms.
• A proven track record of launching, scaling, and managing complex platform or enterprise software products that deliver meaningful, measurable business impact.
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high‑performing product organizations, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Outstanding analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with a history of using data and customer insight to drive decisions and influence executive‑level stakeholders.
• Strong technical and domain acumen, including experience integrating diverse data sources and functionalities, partnering closely with engineering and design, and applying UI/UX and emerging technology trends in product strategy.
