A leading freelance marketplace is seeking individuals to provide voice recordings for an Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) product. The role requires acting as a phone support assistant, with a focus on delivering a professional yet relaxed tone. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high-quality microphone, and have a quiet recording space. Successful candidates will record a 3-minute audition and then 2.5 hours of audio from home, contributing directly to the client's innovative project.

Overview

Our client is looking for new voices for their Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) product. This is a short project with a generous fee for quality audio recordings.

Responsibilities

Your performance will require you to take on the role of a phone support assistant. You can make up any scenario that works for you. The client is looking for a professional but relaxed tone. Think: your second call of the day — settled, natural, and focused. Fillers and repetitions are exactly what we need!

To fully generate the voice our client just needs 2.5 hours of recordings. This will be preceded by a 3 minute sample recording that we will ask for in the application form. This can all be done from home.

• A 3 minute audition recording in the style dictated by the client
• A 2.5hr recording which will be used to make a clone of your voice

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be a speaker of one of the following languages:
  • Spanish (Spain)
  • Spanish (Mexico)
  • French
  • English (UK)
  • Catalan
  • Portuguese (Portugal)
• Must have a high-quality microphone for recording, ideally a large-diaphragm condenser microphone
• Quiet recording space with no background noise
• Must be comfortable using audio recording tools like QuickTime Player (Mac), Sound Recorder (Windows) or Audacity
