Job summary

Shakers is hiring a Visual Content Designer Intern to join our Marketing team for a 6-month internship in Madrid. You’ll work on visual storytelling, graphic and motion design, and video editing, with real ownership and opportunities to build a standout portfolio.

You’ll collaborate with social, web and supply teams, using AI tools and design systems to raise quality and consistency across content while learning from a senior Brand Manager in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Design or Communication.
• Hands-on experience creating and editing video content through internships or projects.
• Comfort with video editing and motion tools (Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, Jitter).
• Familiarity with Figma for brand work.
• Portfolio showcasing video, social content, motion, or creative projects (required).
• Good communication in English and Spanish.

1. The Content team

Our purpose is to make Shakers' brand impossible to ignore: content that is creative, consistent and high quality across every channel. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a strong career in content creation, with a focus on visual storytelling, graphic and motion design, and video editing and production.

As a Visual Content Designer Intern, you'll strengthen the creative and visual side of our content team. You'll collaborate closely with the social, web and supply teams, but this role is not channel-ops focused: your main mission is to raise the quality, creativity and consistency of our content assets.

You'll report directly to our Brand Manager and work alongside other content profiles, helping us move from a generalist setup to a complementary, high-impact marketing team.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership, built for someone who wants to learn fast, experiment, and build a solid creative portfolio in a fast-growing startup.

2. What you'll be doing

Your day-to-day as a Visual Content Designer Intern at Shakers

1. Video & Content Production

• Edit and produce video content for social media and campaigns.

• Apply basic motion graphics and animation.

• Use AI tools to create, edit, and experiment with content.

• Collaborate on creative ideas and new content formats.

2. Social Media Content

• Create and adapt content for social channels.

• Keep up with social media trends and formats.

• Not afraid to get in front of the camera when needed.

3. Brand Design & Systems

• Support the creation of brand assets, templates, and scalable visual systems.

• Help adapt Shakers' visual identity across different formats and channels.

• Contribute to keeping content consistent and on-brand.

3. What we're looking for

You're a great fit if you have…

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Design or Communication.

• Hands-on experience creating and editing video content, through internships, university projects or personal projects.

• Comfortable using video editing and motion tools such as Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, Jitter or similar.

• Familiarity with Figma, which we use regularly for design and brand work.

• Curious about AI-powered creative tools and excited to experiment with AI for image, video, and content creation.

• A portfolio showcasing video, social content, motion, or creative projects (required as part of the application).

• Good communication skills in English and Spanish.

4. A note on AI

AI is non-negotiable at Shakers. It's part of how we create, research and win every day, not a buzzword. Every Shaker has access to Claude, plus the context and training to get real value from it, and we track how we use it with specific KPIs.

Here you'll use AI to generate and edit images and video, prototype new formats faster and cut the busywork, so you spend more time on the creative ideas that matter. We're looking for people who are curious about AI-powered creative tools and want to go deeper: proactive and willing to invest time getting better at it. Not a novelty, a real collaborator.
