The Role

Zicasso is looking for a talented and passionate Photo & Video Editor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about visual storytelling, with experience in both photo and video editing. You will collaborate with a creative team to produce visually stunning and emotionally engaging content that aligns with our brand's luxury aesthetic and storytelling objectives. Occasionally, you may also be asked to capture original content, which will be owned exclusively by Zicasso.

This is an international, fully-remote, contractor position, working from home with a 5-day work week, at a location outside of the United States.

There is flexibility in your work hours but we expect that you will generally maximize your overlap with Denver, Colorado hours, Mountain Time (GMT -7).

All work will be carried out in English.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Editing & Production
• Source stock footage that aligns with our brand's luxury aesthetic and storytelling goals
• Edit and produce high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, social media platforms, and promotional materials
• Incorporate music, voiceovers, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling
• Optimize video content for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc.) while maintaining brand consistency

• Photo Editing & Storytelling
• Source, retouch, and enhance photos to reflect the brand's luxury aesthetic
• Create visual narratives by sequencing and curating images for campaigns, social media, websites, and print
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure images align with storytelling objectives

• Content Capture
• Execute photo and video shoots to capture original content for campaigns and projects
• Coordinate with team members to ensure that captured assets meet technical and creative standards
• Ensure all captured content is properly cataloged, backed up, and delivered for post-production

• Creative Collaboration
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop visual concepts for campaigns and projects
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for photo and video storytelling
• Assist in creating mood boards, visual guidelines, and creative briefs to guide content production

• Quality Assurance
• Ensure all visual assets meet brand guidelines, technical specifications, and quality standards
• Maintain an organized library of digital assets for efficient access and workflow
• Stay up-to-date with trends in photography, videography, editing techniques, and storytelling

Required Skills and Experience

• 1-3 years of professional photo and video experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing past projects preferably within the travel, luxury, or lifestyle sectors
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Proficiency in photo editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
• Strong portfolio showcasing both photo and video editing work, with an emphasis on storytelling
• Ability to adapt editing styles to suit various platforms and target audiences
• Photography and videography skills, with experience capturing high-quality content
• Understanding of composition, color grading, and visual aesthetics
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide and accept constructive feedback
• Passion for travel and an understanding of the luxury travel market is highly desirable
