Oesia Group in Rivas-Vaciamadrid is seeking a Verification and Validation Engineer to join a major project onsite. You will design and execute V&V plans, develop tests, and collaborate with software, hardware, firmware teams to ensure quality.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 5 years of V&V experience, strong C programming, embedded systems knowledge, and proficiency in Python/Bash and Linux, plus technical English for documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or similar).
• Experience in software verification and validation, technical QA, or testing in technology environments.
• Solid knowledge of C programming.
• Experience with embedded systems and communication buses/protocols.
• Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Experience working with Linux.
• Ability to interpret and validate technical requirements, architecture, and specifications.
• Sufficient technical English proficiency for documentation and tools.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute the Verification and Validation plan in accordance with system and software requirements.
• Design and develop unit, functional, integration, and regression tests.
• Create and maintain test procedures, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Verify that the software meets specifications through requirements reviews, design reviews, and traceability.
• Conduct tests on simulated environments, models, test benches, and actual hardware.
• Automate tests using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Collaborate closely with the software, hardware, firmware, and integration teams to facilitate defect resolution.
• Participate in internal audits and technical reviews of the software lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation and evidence of compliance with quality processes.
