Airbus Canada Limited Partnership is seeking a Machinist to join the tooling department in Mirabel. You will machine using conventional and CNC methods, support production, and collaborate with the tooling method group.

The role emphasizes interpretation of plans, precision, and adherence to safety. Strong aerospace experience is an asset and a hybrid/onsite work environment is possible.

Job Description

Do you have solid experience in conventional and CNC machining, have you worked in the manufacturing or aerospace sector and would you like to progress and develop new skills? Then this job is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for 1 Machinist to join our tooling department team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work with tooling department.

You will be part of the tooling team responsible to support the production and work in conjunction with the tooling method group.

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Vos Défis

• Comprendre et interpréter les plans et dessins techniques;
• Vérifier que la pièce correspond aux critères du dessin;
• Corriger selon les résultats du premier essai et ajuster si requis;
• Vérifier le machinage effectué et effectuer les corrections nécessaires;
• Aviser le superviseur de tous bris ou défectuosités des outils et/ou équipements utilisés;
• Participer à la formation des nouveaux employés et/ou stagiaires;
• Appliquer les règles de Santé et Sécurité au travail en vigueur de l’entreprise en tout temps.

Votre Profil

• DEP machiniste avec 3 ans d'expérience;
• AEC commande numérique CNC obligatoire;
• Solide acquis en sheet metal, conventionnel et 3 axes;
• Expérience dans l'aéronautique un atout;
• Appliqué, rigoureux et organisé;
• Capacité à lire et interpréter des plans et des dessins;
• Grand souci du détail et grande précision;
• Esprit analytique et aptitude en résolution de problème;
• Force et dextérité manuelle.

Your Challenges

Your Boarding Pass

• DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in Machining with 3 years of experience;
• AEC in CNC (Computer Numerical Control) mandatory;
• Solid experience in sheet metal, conventional, and 3-axis machining;
• Experience in aerospace is an asset;
• Applied, rigorous and organized;
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings;
• Great attention to detail and precision;
• Analytical mind and problem-solving skills;
• Strength and manual dexterity.
