Jobandtalent is seeking a hands-on Accountant to join our U.S. Controlling & Accounting team. This fully remote role requires periodic in-person attendance at our Madrid headquarters for month-end close collaboration.

You will support day-to-day operations, manage bank and balance-sheet reconciliations, post journal entries, and assist with financial reporting and audits. The position offers growth in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teamwork across locations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience with solid knowledge of accounting principles.
• Intermediate Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.
• Hands-on approach to support a broad range of accounting activities.

The Position

We are seeking a hands-on Accountant to join our U.S. Controlling & Accounting team. This position is fully remote, with the employee expected to work primarily from their remote location (from Madrid, Sevilla, or Barcelona).

The role will require periodic in-person attendance at our Madrid, Spain headquarters, generally on a monthly basis, to collaborate with the broader Controlling & Accounting team, particularly during key month-end close periods. The frequency and timing of office attendance will be communicated in advance based on business needs and close-cycle requirements.

The Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure the accuracy, timeliness,and efficiency of key financial processes. The role will be actively involved in month-end close, accountreconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, audit preparation, and continuous improvement ofaccounting processes.

• Prepare and complete bank reconciliations for 15+ bank accounts
• Perform balance-sheet account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process

• Support internal and external audit preparation, including gathering documentation and responding to information requests
• Provide administrative support to the Controlling & Accounting team as needed
• Support month-end and year-end close activities while meeting established deadlines
• Track tax and legal expenses and maintain appropriate supporting documentation
• Collaborate with headquarters and cross-functional stakeholders as needed
• Maintain process documentation and identify opportunities to improve accountingprocesses, procedures, and controls
• Maintain lease records and account for operating leases in accordance with applicablelocal accounting standards

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related careers
• At least 2 years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and processes
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Hands-on approach and willingness to support a broad range of accounting activities
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across teamsand locations

• Previous experience at a Big Four or a leading global accounting firm
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or another accounting ERP system
• Experience supporting or participating in month-end close activities
• Experience with bank reconciliations, balance-sheet reconciliations, and journal-entrypreparation
• Familiarity with operating lease accounting
