Job summary

N26 Inc. is seeking a Treasury Trader to autonomously drive core treasury operations, liquidity and cash management, and investments with a focus on public sector financing. The role offers a hybrid work model with an office in Barcelona.

You will trade, manage money markets, oversee central bank operations, and lead front-office initiatives using SQL and Bloomberg tools, aligning with regulatory requirements and cross-functional governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in bank treasury operations, liquidity management, and money markets.
• Hands-on Repo/Reverse Repo and hedging experience.
• Strong Bloomberg, market data, and SQL querying capabilities.
• Understanding of Eurosystem frameworks and European regulations (MaRisk, CRR III, KWG).

Responsibilities

• Trade execution and portfolio management focused on public sector financing.
• Oversee liquidity functions including Bundesbank cash pooling and reserve requirements.
• Manage payment systems and central bank operations (Target, ESMIG, MACCS).
• Support audits, compliance, and First Line of Defense (1LoD) risk management.
• Lead NPP implementations and automate reporting via SQL.
