Job summary

EDP, a global energy company, is offering a Transfer Pricing Internship to support the Transfer Pricing team across the group. The role provides practical experience in international taxation, transfer pricing documentation, data analysis and planning projects.

The intern will assist in gathering and analysing financial data, monitoring intercompany transactions for policy alignment and supporting audits and information requests from tax authorities across Europe, North America, LATAM and APAC

Qualifications

• Final year student or graduate in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or Law.
• Basic accounting/finance concepts understood.
• Interest in Transfer Pricing and International Taxation.
• Ability to work with large datasets and numerical information.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, update and maintain transfer pricing documentation across multiple jurisdictions.
• Gather, validate and analyse financial and operational data for transfer pricing compliance.
• Monitor intercompany transactions for consistency with the group’s transfer pricing policies.
• Assist during transfer pricing audits and information requests from tax authorities.
• Research transfer pricing legislation, OECD Guidelines and tax developments.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Legal, HR to collect information for analyses.
• Support transfer pricing projects related to intercompany services and restructurings.
• Prepare presentations, reports and summaries for the team.

The Transfer Pricing Intern will support the Transfer Pricing team in the day-to-day management of transfer pricing matters across the EDP Group. The role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in international taxation and transfer pricing through participation in compliance, documentation, data analysis and transfer pricing planning projects.

The intern will collaborate with team members in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation, data collection and analysis, benchmarking activities and support for transfer pricing audits and other tax-related procedures. The role offers exposure to transfer pricing matters across multiple jurisdictions in Europe, North America, LATAM and APAC and contributes to the continuous development of transfer pricing governance within the Group

What you will do:

• Support the preparation, update and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking studies and supporting files across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist in gathering, validating and analysing financial and operational data required for transfer pricing compliance and reporting purposes.
• Support the monitoring of intercompany transactions and help ensure consistency with the Group's transfer pricing policies.
• Assist the team during transfer pricing audits, tax inspections and information requests from tax authorities.
• Conduct research on transfer pricing legislation, OECD Guidelines, tax developments and relevant case law under the supervision of senior team members.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Legal, HR and other business areas to collect information required for transfer pricing analyses and documentation.
• Support transfer pricing projects related to intercompany services, financial transactions, business restructurings and other strategic initiatives.
• Prepare presentations, reports, summaries and other materials to support the team's activities.
• Perform other related duties as required.
