Job summary

Crédit Agricole CIB in Madrid is seeking a Trainee in Project Finance to assist in developing and executing EIG and Structured Finance Advisory initiatives. You will work with senior bankers to structure, arrange, and implement finance solutions for Iberian clients.

The role supports daily structuring tasks, monitoring portfolios, and coordinating with credit and operations teams. Fluency in English and Spanish is required; some French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Studies in business/administration, economics or engineering.
• Excellent language skills in English and Spanish (French too if possible).
• Well-developed PC-skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Assist in the development and execution of the EIG and Structured Finance Advisory business in the Madrid office. Work alongside experienced professionals to structure, arrange, and implement structured finance solutions.

• Assist the team in their daily tasks related to the structuring, arranging and implementation of EIG and Structured Finance Advisory products and services.
• Support the Iberian structured finance portfolio monitoring (including coordination of internal reporting across credit and operations departments, or contribute to the development and implementation of restructuring concepts and solutions).
• Collaborate with other teams on deal origination, execution, monitoring and client deliverables.
• Studies in business/administration, economics or engineering.
• Excellent language skills in English and Spanish (French too if possible).
• Well-developed PC-skills, including main Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Any professional experience will be positively valued although it's not mandatory.
• Coordination and organizational skills.
• High communication and analytical skills.
