ALSTOM Barcelona is seeking a Train Control Engineer to own the architecture and functional specifications for Train Control & Information Systems. You will guide TCMS deliverables from tender through warranty, coordinating on-board subsystems and leading a multidisciplinary team, both on-site and remote.

Your role ensures safe, reliable rail operations by applying standards and overseeing design reviews across project gates. A strong engineering background and leadership are essential.

Formación

• Experience with TCMS architectures, On-board systems and functional/control design.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and product definitions.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance and systems engineering principles.
• Experience with IEC 61375, EN50128, EN5012 standards.

Responsabilidades

• Own TCMS deliverables including requirements, architectures, software specifications and functional descriptions
• Lead design reviews across project gates from tender to validation and certification
• Manage multidisciplinary on-site and remote teams to execute control, software and system work packages
• Provide functional management of TCIS resources (Control, Systems, SW Engineers)
• Monitor technical progress through KPIs and maintain alignment with Project Engineering Manager and cross-functional stakeholders

You’ll guide TCMS deliverables from tender through warranty, ensuring quality across functional schemes, architectures and software. You will lead design reviews, manage a multidisciplinary global team, and align the work with project commitments.
