Opella seeks a Solution Architect – TPM to design and deliver scalable, global TPM solutions, aligning business needs with IT to optimize trade promotions across markets. You will partner with Commercial, Finance and IT teams to ensure an integrated TPM ecosystem and drive efficiency across global programs.

Based in Barcelona with a hybrid model (2 days remote per week), you will lead architecture design, collaborate with multiple regional teams, and interface with ERP/Finance systems to ensure

• Proven experience in solution architecture or enterprise systems.
• Strong exposure to Trade Promotion Management platforms (e.g. Kantar Xtel, Visualfabriq, SAP TPM, Salesforce TPM).
• Delivery experience in large-scale implementations (global or multi-country).

• Design end-to-end TPM solutions covering promotion planning, forecasting, budgeting, accruals, claims and settlements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical solution designs.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Sales and Revenue Growth Management teams to improve trade promotion processes.
• Ensure seamless integration between TPM platforms and ERP/Finance systems (e.g. SAP).
• Support global implementations and rollouts, adapting solutions to different markets and business requirements.
• Monitor solution performance, data quality and compliance with architecture standards.
• Manage and collaborate with external partners and system integrators to deliver high‑quality solutions.

About the job

As a Solution Architect – Trade Promotion Management (TPM), you will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, global solutions that support how we plan, execute and optimize commercial promotions across markets. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, partnering closely with Commercial, Finance and IT teams to ensure our TPM ecosystem is fully integrated, efficient and aligned with business needs. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex, global programs spanning multiple regions, while helping shape how trade investments are managed and optimized across Opella.

Main responsibilities

• Design end-to-end TPM solutions covering promotion planning, forecasting, budgeting, accruals, claims and settlements
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical solution designs
• Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Sales and Revenue Growth Management teams to improve trade promotion processes
• Ensure seamless integration between TPM platforms and ERP/Finance systems (e.g. SAP)
• Support global implementations and rollouts, adapting solutions to different markets and business requirements
• Monitor solution performance, data quality and compliance with architecture standards
• Manage and collaborate with external partners and system integrators to deliver high‑quality solutions

About you

• Experience: Proven experience in solution architecture or enterprise systems, with strong exposure to Trade Promotion Management platforms (e.g. Kantar Xtel, Visualfabriq, SAP TPM, Salesforce TPM or similar)
• Business understanding: Solid knowledge of trade promotion processes (planning, accruals, settlements, trade spend management)
• Technical skills: Experience designing integrated solutions and working with ERP/Finance systems
• Delivery experience: Hands‑on involvement in large‑scale implementations (global or multi‑country environments)
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders, influencing decisions and aligning priorities
• Mindset: Comfortable working in complex, international environments with multiple stakeholders and time zones
• Languages: Fluent English required
