Job summary

QbD Group in Madrid is seeking a Toxicology Business Unit Manager to lead the development and growth of the Toxicology unit within the QA division, working closely with the Global Head QA.

You will combine scientific toxicology expertise with a consulting mindset to deliver high-quality, regulatory-compliant deliverables, support client projects, and identify growth opportunities across international clients.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences and/or Life Sciences.
• 7+ years in regulatory toxicology.
• Experience with international clients and cross-functional teams.
• ERT registration is a strong plus.
• Excellent English and Spanish communication skills.
• Process-oriented mindset and ability to fix the system.
• Comfort discussing financial matters with business leaders and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead toxicology consulting projects.
• Support and deliver work across the Toxicology service offering.
• Ensure scientific quality and regulatory alignment of deliverables.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Toxicology Business Unit.
• Ensure projects are delivered effectively and to client expectations.
• Support growth through proposals and identifying new opportunities.
• Assist Global Head QA in shaping the toxicology service portfolio and market positioning.
