Indie Campers is seeking a Tourism & Operations Intern for the Coruña depot in Spain. You will welcome guests, set them up for memorable road trips, explain campervan features and terms, and assist with check-ins and check-outs.

The role combines guest relations with fleet coordination in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are students or recent graduates in hospitality/tourism with strong English and a customer-service mindset.

Formación

• Student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration or related field seeking an internship.
• Fluent in English with valid work permit if applicable and a driving license for both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Interest in international environments and meeting new cultures.
• Strong customer service orientation with problem-solving mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Front-office: greeting guests, check-ins/outs, registering guests, processing payments, explaining campervan features and terms, upselling extras.
• Back-office: align reservations with available campers, prepare campers and road trip kits, maintain fleet condition, identify maintenance needs, support stock monitoring.
• Collaborate with team to coordinate fleet and logistics.

THE ROLE

We’re on the lookout for passionate students or recent graduates who want to dive into the exciting world of RV and campervan rentals and gain hands-on tourism experience at our Coruña** **depot , located in Calle de la Ermita 13, 15008 Polígono de la Grela, A Coruña, Spain.

As our Tourism & Operations Intern, you’ll be the friendly face of our brand - welcoming guests, setting them up for road trips of a lifetime, and ensuring their journey ends just as wonderfully as it began. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Front-office activities:

• Customer service and sales: Take care of check-ins and check-outs, register guests, process payments, explain campervan functionalities, terms and conditions, upsell road trip extras.

Back-office activities:

• Operations handling: Align the reservations with the available campervans, verify and prepare campers and road trip extras and kits.
• Quality control: Maintain the campervans in top condition, identify and act on possible maintenance or repair needs.
• Support activities: Support the team in monitoring the existing stock, coordinating the fleet of campervans, troubleshooting operational issues.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• You are a student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration or a related field looking for an internship;
• You are fluent in English, have a work permit (if applicable), and a valid driver’s licence (for both manual and automatic vehicles);
• You like international environments and meeting new cultures;
• You possess a natural talent for connecting with people and have a strong customer service orientation;
• You have a problem-solving mindset, thriving to create solutions and feeling comfortable with getting your hands dirty.
