Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU at Matacán Base near Salamanca is seeking a TMA Electrical Aircraft Maintenance Technician. You will perform electrical and mechanical assembly, integration and testing, and contribute to first level quality inspections and production documentation.

The role requires prior aircraft maintenance experience and knowledge of ECS, fuel, hydraulic and electrical systems, plus experience with manufacturing tools and drawings. A B1.1 or B2 license is valued.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in maintenance of aircraft and/or aircraft components.
• Knowledge of ECS, fuel, hydraulic and electrical systems for integration and test.
• Experience with manufacturing tools, processes, manuals and drawings.
• License B1.1 and/or B2 strongly valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical/mechanical assembly, integration and modification.
• Perform system repairs and first level quality inspection.
• Conduct functional tests of aircraft and components.
• Handle inputs and produce outputs with appropriate documentation.
• Perform hourly and calendar inspections and support continuous improvement.

Job description

Job Description: An opportunity for a TMA Electrical Aircraft Maintenance Technician has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space. The selected candidate will join the Matacán Base (Salamanca).

Tasks & accountabilities

• Perform electrical/mechanical assembly, integration and modification.
• Perform system repairs
• Perform first level Quality inspection.
• Perform functional tests of aircraft and components
• Inputs: Raw materials, tools, standards parts and components, documentation (technical instruction, job card an technical manuals).
• Outputs: Assembly ready for testing with associated production documentation.
• Perform hourly and calendar inspections.
• Ensure continuous improvement.

Required Profile

• Previous experience in maintenance of aircraft and/or aircraft components.
• Aircraft General Systems knowledge for integration and test (ECS, Fuel system, Hydraulic, Electrical Systems...).
• Experience in manufacturing: Tools and processes awareness, Technical documentation, manuals and drawings.
• B1.1 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance License will be highly valued/positively considered.
• Continuous improvement profile and Quality knowledge or experience.
• Used to work with jigs and tools in aircraft and components maintenance.
• Proactive and collaborative mindsets are a must due to the work being performed at the customer's facilities.
• Flexibility due to the changing needs of the customer.
