Wazuh is seeking an engineer to join our Threat Intelligence team, contributing to pattern development and high-quality solutions for challenging problems. You will work across threat intel, CVE assessments, and CIS-based hardening, while collaborating with the Cloud and Threat Intelligence teams to improve Wazuh XDR+SIEM capabilities.

• Strong knowledge in modern C++ (C++17-C++20).
• Experience with software testing and frameworks.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development (PRs, reviews).
• Experience building service-oriented desktop apps for Linux, Windows, or macOS.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Ability to assist community users with questions about capabilities.
• English written conversational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Introduce new patterns and conventions when needed.
• Produce pragmatic, high-quality solutions to challenging problems.
• Use tools to diagnose issues quickly and calmly under pressure.
• Provide actionable feedback across team pull requests.
• Engage with the Wazuh community to help users with deployment/configuration issues.
• Review CVEs data for accuracy and clarity in vulnerability assessments.
• Develop and refine hardening policies based on CIS Benchmarks and Wazuh SCA.
• Design and implement a modern ruleset (decoders and rules) for Wazuh XDR+SIEM.
