Alstom in Madrid is seeking a Test & Commissioning Engineer to support the testing and commissioning of urban railway signalling systems that keep cities moving safely and efficiently. You will collaborate with engineering, verification & validation, design and installation teams to solve complex challenges and deliver reliable commissioning documentation.

The role requires willingness to travel, flexibility for night and weekend shifts, and strong analytical and communication skills to ensure

Formación

• Degree in Engineering (electronics, telecommunications or embedded systems preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in railway signalling projects.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to travel and be mobile across locations and countries.
• Available for night shifts, weekends and holidays when required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Driving licence required.
• English knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and execute testing and commissioning activities for railway signalling systems.
• Support projects by performing system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of signalling equipment.
• Ensure non-conformities are reported, documented and tracked.
• Deliver commissioning reports and support defect resolution.
• Verify that testing tools are calibrated and operational.
• Support Verification & Validation teams and laboratory testing when required.

Your role, your impact

• Prepare and execute testing and commissioning activities for railway signalling systems
• Support one or several projects by performing system integration, testing and troubleshooting of signalling equipment
• Ensure non-conformities are correctly reported, documented and tracked through the appropriate tools
• Deliver commissioning reports and support defect resolution activities
• Verify that testing tools are calibrated and fully operational
• Support Verification & Validation teams and perform laboratory testing activities when required

What you bring

• Degree in Engineering (preferably Electronics, Telecommunications or Embedded Systems) or equivalent experience
• Experience in railway signalling projects
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Flexibility and mobility for short and long-term assignments in different locations and countries
• Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays when required
• Team-player mindset, resilience and strong communication skills
• Driving licence
• English knowledge is considered an asset
