Alstom in Madrid is seeking a Junior Telecommunications Engineer to help design, configure and validate the systems that enable safe rail operations. You will work on cutting-edge control center technologies and contribute to critical mobility infrastructure.

The role involves configuring CTC/TMS solutions such as ICONIS and EBI Screen, generating documentation, and collaborating with engineering and project management teams to deliver reliable, performant systems.

Formación

• Technical degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Experience in signalling projects, preferably railway control center environments.
• Fluent English communication skills and knowledge of SCADA, virtualization, Windows Server and Linux environments, networking and cybersecurity.

Responsabilidades

Your role, your impact

• Configure, integrate, validate and test CTC/TMS solutions, including ICONIS and/or EBI Screen platforms
• Generate configuration data and technical documentation for control center systems and integrations
• Participate in requirements elicitation and define internal and external system interfaces
• Support subsystem testing, system integration, commissioning activities and continuous improvement initiatives

You’ll work with sharp, committed teams across engineering, system engineering and project management - solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility.

What you bring

• Technical degree or university degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field
• Experience in signalling projects, preferably within railway control center environments is a plus
• Fluent English communication skills
• Knowledge of SCADA systems, virtualization technologies, Windows Server and Linux environments, industrial communication protocols, networking, cybersecurity, databases and scripting/programming languages such as C#, VBS or PowerShell and Kubernetes
