Jobgether represents a partner company seeking a Test Automation Engineer – Cucumber in Spain. This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced automation tester to strengthen software quality across dynamic technology projects.

You will design and execute automated testing strategies focusing on Cucumber and BDD within Agile/Scrum teams, collaborating with developers, product and delivery groups to improve reliability, scalability and performance across international projects.

Formación

• Proven professional experience in software test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cucumber and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scenarios to validate application functionality and quality.
• Apply Cucumber and BDD methodologies to create clear, maintainable automated tests.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum processes to define testing approaches and resolve defects.
• Contribute to test planning, execution, analysis, and continuous improvement of automation frameworks.
• Communicate test results, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support QA activities across international projects and adapt testing to different environments.
• Work with supporting technologies such as JMeter, Docker, cloud platforms, Jira, Azure DevOps, and microservices.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Test Automation Engineer – Cucumber based in Spain.

This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced automation testing professional to strengthen software quality across dynamic technology projects.
You will design and execute automated testing strategies with a strong focus on Cucumber and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
Working within an Agile/Scrum environment, you will collaborate closely with development and delivery teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Your work will contribute directly to reliable, scalable, and high-performing software solutions.
The role offers exposure to modern technologies, international projects, and diverse technical environments.
It is well suited to a proactive tester who combines technical expertise with strong communication and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scenarios to validate application functionality, reliability, and quality.
• Apply Cucumber and BDD methodologies to create clear, maintainable, and business-aligned automated tests.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders within Agile/Scrum processes to define testing approaches and resolve defects.
• Contribute to test planning, execution, analysis, and continuous improvement of automation frameworks and quality processes.
• Communicate test results, issues, risks, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support quality assurance activities across international projects and adapt testing practices to different technical environments.
• Where applicable, work with supporting technologies such as JMeter, Docker, cloud platforms, Jira, Azure DevOps, and microservices.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in software test automation and automated quality assurance.
• Strong hands-on experience withCucumberandBehavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience working withinAgile/Scrumdevelopment environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with careful attention to detail and software quality.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with distributed teams.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity withJMeter, Docker, cloud environments, Jira, Azure DevOps, or microservicesis considered an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining effective collaboration and delivery discipline.
