• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and project activities.

Technical Solutions & Project Delivery Specialist - EPC Projects

Location: Spain

A leading global industrial automation and process control technology company is looking for a Technical Solutions & Project Delivery Specialist to work with Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors across Spain and the wider European market. The role combines technical solution architecture with project delivery, bridging solution development, customer engagement and engineering project execution.

You will translate customer and EPC project requirements into practical technical architectures and engineering proposals, and support the design and integration of DCS, PLC, SCADA and related control systems. You will coordinate technical activities between customers, EPC contractors, internal engineering teams and suppliers, take part in technical reviews and project planning, and support tendering, bid preparation and project handover. You will also identify project risks and integration challenges, and make sure proposed solutions stay aligned with project schedule and budget.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in industrial automation, solution architecture or technical project delivery, direct experience working with EPC contractors, and strong organisational and communication skills, with professional fluency in Spanish and English.

The key skills required for the Technical Solutions & Project Delivery Specialist:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, Control Engineering or a related discipline.
• Solid experience in industrial automation, engineering project delivery, solution architecture or technical project management.
• Demonstrable experience working directly with EPC contractors on industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA and associated instrumentation.
• Ability to understand technical specifications, engineering documentation and project requirements.
• Experience coordinating engineering stakeholders across multiple project phases.
• Experience supporting technical tenders, project proposals or project execution.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Professional fluency in Spanish and English.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and project activities.

Preferred experience includes working for EPC companies or industrial automation vendors, exposure to Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemicals, Energy and Utilities, a mix of pre-sales engineering and project management, and managing technical interfaces between equipment vendors, engineering contractors and end customers.
