Job summary

Betby is seeking a Technical Lead to steer the Finance technology landscape, owning ERP/NetSuite, BackOffice integrations, automation, data architecture, and reporting solutions. You will translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and deliver end-to-end.

Reporting to Head of Finance, you will lead a Finance Technical Team of 2, combine hands-on development with architecture and ensure secure, scalable solutions aligned with Betby's technology strategy.

Qualifications

• Production backend development experience with Python.
• Full-stack development with JavaScript/TypeScript, React.
• Experience with REST APIs, NoSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with system design / solution architecture.
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD and cloud environments.
• English level B2+.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and development of the Finance systems landscape, including ERP/NetSuite, BackOffice, integrations, automation and Finance data solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and own delivery from solution design and estimation through development, testing and deployment.
• Lead and support the Finance Technical Team while remaining actively involved in hands-on development.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for Finance, collaborating with Product, Technology, Security, Infrastructure and external partners.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and aligned with the company's overall technology architecture.
• Review and challenge technical solutions, architecture and estimates proposed by internal teams and external vendors.

Short Description

We are looking for a Technical Lead to lead the technical development within our Finance function.

You will be the technical owner and key point of contact for Finance technology, covering ERP, Finance-related BackOffice development, integrations, automation, data architecture, reporting solutions and future Finance technology initiatives.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role combining solution architecture, development and team leadership. You will translate Finance business requirements into scalable technical solutions and own their delivery end-to-end. The role owns the technical solution and delivery, while Finance retains ownership of business processes, accounting requirements and priorities.

The role will reports to the Head of Finance and lead a Finance Technical Team of 2 people.

Requirements

• Production backend development experience with Python
• Full-stack development experience with JavaScript / TypeScript, React
• Strong experience with REST APIs, system integrations, NoSQL, MongoDB
• Experience with system design / solution architecture across multiple systems
• Practical knowledge of Docker, CI/CD and cloud environments
• Good understanding of authentication, authorization and integration patterns such as OAuth2, JWT, API keys, service-to-service auth, webhooks, queues, asynchronous processing, retries and idempotency
• English level B2+

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with ERP, Finance, payment or other enterprise systems will be considered as a strong advantage
• Oracle NetSuite / SuiteScript / SuiteTalk experience
• Experience in FinTech, iGaming or another complex transactional environment
