Job summary

Amazon in Madrid is seeking a Technical Program Manager to own the planning mechanisms for its European network. You will combine demand forecasts, building plans, and capacity constraints into a coherent plan while engaging senior stakeholders to drive repeatable processes.

You will coordinate input intake, validate assumptions, run scenarios, and present findings. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, cross-team collaboration, and continuous improvement of planning tools and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Knowledge of software development and project management concepts.
• Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or CS/Math/equivalent.
• Experience in program or project management.
• Experience in data-driven decision making.
• Experience with reporting/BI tools such as QuickSight/Tableau/Power BI or equivalent.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end planning cycles, aligning 20+ partner teams.
• Define input requirements, validation checks, and standards.
• Translate business questions into scenarios and analyze results.
• Build and automate the reporting layer for plan vs prior plan.
• Prepare concise, data-backed status updates for senior leadership.
• Identify manual, slow, or error-prone steps and work with engineers and analysts to fix them.
