Antal International seeks ahands-on Tech Lead to join a new fintech venture launching in Spain. You will own technical delivery, architecture and engineering quality, taking the platform from MVP to a scalable, high-load system.

Lead internal and externals, shape architecture, enforce standards, and drive CI/CD, security and observability in a greenfield environment while growing the engineering team in Madrid.

Formación

• Senior Software Engineer or Tech Lead with 8+ years of delivery ownership.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership role and hands-on leadership.
• Strong Go production experience, including concurrency and testing.
• Distributed systems and microservices architecture experience.
• Backend APIs with gRPC/Protobuf and REST/OpenAPI, versioning and security.
• Cloud expertise: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform/IaC, CI/CD/GitOps.
• PostgreSQL knowledge; event-driven patterns with Kafka or similar.
• Security, observability and modern SDLC practices (OpenTelemetry).
• Fintech/regulated environment experience; strong English; Spanish a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Technical Leadership & Delivery: lead internal and external developers with priorities and timelines.
• Architecture & Engineering Quality: enforce decisions, review code, manage debt and standards.
• Hands-on Development: contribute during reviews, prototypes and production work when needed.
• External Team Management: oversee partners, ensure knowledge transfer and minimize vendor risk.
• SDLC & Operations: implement CI/CD, DoD, release management, observability, incident response.
• Scalability & Resilience: design fault-tolerant distributed systems for high load.
• Team Building: participate in hiring and grow the internal engineering team.
