Enginy is building the AI-native GTM platform in Barcelona. We’re seeking a Tech Lead to ship high-impact software, shape architecture and foster a high-performing, AI‑native engineering team.

You’ll own end-to-end delivery, mentor engineers, collaborate with Product and Design, and push the boundaries of AI-powered features while ensuring reliability and scalability as the company scales.

Formación

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with team leadership or technical lead.
• Strong backend fundamentals including system design and data-intensive workflows.
• Experience working across the stack with a product mindset.
• Track record shipping and scaling B2B SaaS products.
• Experience mentoring engineers and establishing durable engineering practices.
• Clear communication in English to explain trade-offs to stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Define architectural direction and drive technical trade-offs for high-throughput backends and AI features.
• Write production code, unblock the team, own complex problems end to end.
• Define engineering standards for code quality, testing, observability, and reliability.

We're looking for a Tech Lead who wants to build great software and great engineering teams. You'll lead from the code, set the technical direction for your team, and help define how Enginy builds as the company scales. You'll join early enough to shape the architecture, standards and culture at a stage where customer demand already creates real engineering challenges.

About the role

This is a hands‑on leadership role. We're not looking for a full‑time manager who has stepped away from the code, nor for a senior engineer who wants to stay heads‑down. We need someone who ships alongside the team while raising the bar for everyone around them.

AI is changing how we build software, and we're leaning into that shift aggressively. We use AI extensively across the engineering workflow, not just to write code faster, but to rethink how engineers design, build, test, debug, and ship. We want someone who is excited to push these tools to their limits, experiment with new ways of working, and help define what a high‑performing, AI‑native engineering team looks like.

You'll own technical delivery end‑to‑end:

What you’ll own

• Technical direction: make architecture decisions and technical trade‑offs across high‑throughput backend workflows, integrations, AI‑powered features and web experiences

• Hands‑on delivery: write production code, unblock the team, and own complex problems end to end

• Engineering standards: define and raise the bar on code quality, code reviews, testing, observability and reliability

• Team leadership: mentor engineers, support their growth, and contribute to help us scale in the market

• Product partnership: work closely with Product and Design to shape the roadmap, scope work realistically and balance speed with long‑term quality

• Scalability: anticipate what breaks at the next order of magnitude (users, data, integrations) and prepare the platform for it

About you

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including time leading a team or acting as technical lead

• Strong backend fundamentals: system design, data‑intensive workflows, APIs and integrations

• Comfortable working across the stack, with a product mindset you care about the "why", not just the "how"

• Track record shipping and scaling products used by real customers, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment

• Experience mentoring engineers and setting engineering practices that stick

• Clear communicator in English, able to explain technical trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders

• Bias for action, strong ownership you lead by example

Nice to have

• Experience building AI/LLM-powered features in production

• Startup or scale‑up experience during a high‑growth phase

• Experience with sales, data enrichment or GTM tooling
