Una consultora tecnológica está buscando un Lead Tableau Developer para liderar la migración de Tableau de AWS a Google Cloud. Este rol remoto y de alto impacto implica diseñar pipelines de automatización y trabajar en la integración de flujos de autenticación. Se necesita experiencia comprobada en la automatización de Tableau y en la migración de servidores, además de habilidades en documentación y gestión de interesados. Ofrecen un contrato totalmente remoto con la oportunidad de participar en un proyecto empresarial de alto perfil.

Formación

• Experiencia comprobada en la migración de Tableau Server entre plataformas en la nube (AWS a GCP es imprescindible).
• Conocimiento profundo de la automatización de Tableau y de la API REST de Tableau.
• Fuerte comprensión de la integración de identidad y controles de acceso en la nube.

Responsabilidades

• Liderar la migración de un complejo entorno de Tableau de AWS a Google Cloud.
• Diseñar pipelines de automatización para actualizar contenido de Tableau a gran escala.
• Integrar flujos de autenticación entre ForgeRock, Tableau y BigQuery.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role with a fast-paced tech consultancy, helping steer a critical Tableau transformation project. You’ll be central to shaping a scalable analytics platform, working at the cutting edge of data, automation, and cloud.

Location

Remote (UK hours) - Preference for candidates based in Romania, Portugal, Spain or Sweden.

Contract Length

2 months with potential for extension.

Technology & Data Consultancy

• Leading the migration of a complex Tableau estate from AWS to Google Cloud.
• Designing automation pipelines to update Tableau content at scale without compromising integrity.
• Integrating authentication flows between ForgeRock, Tableau, and BigQuery.
• Building out migration tools using Tableau REST API, scripting languages (Python / PowerShell), and CI / CD.
• Working closely with data engineers to optimise BigQuery datasets and cost performance for Tableau use.
• Owning testing, validation, and cutover planning — including rollback strategies and defect triage.
• Proven experience leading Tableau Server migrations between cloud platforms (AWS to GCP a must).
• Deep hands‑on knowledge of Tableau automation, including scripting XML updates and using Tableau REST API.
• Strong understanding of identity integration (ForgeRock, SAML / OIDC) and secure cloud access controls.
• Solid command of GCP and AWS services, especially BigQuery, IAM, and networking.
• Proficient in Python and / or PowerShell; confident with Tableau Server admin tools and CI / CD deployment practices.
• Strong documentation, testing, and stakeholder management skills.
