Job summary

Q ENERGY, a European leader in green energy, seeks a Tax Specialist to support the Spanish finance team with closings, tax compliance, and annual accounts. You will work with auditors to ensure accurate reporting and continuous process improvements.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, Spanish GAAP/IFRS knowledge, SAP and advanced Excel skills, and fluency in Spanish and English. Hybrid work in Madrid and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge in Spanish GAAP and IFRS with tax compliance experience.
• Proficient in SAP and advanced MS Office skills.
• Professional fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly closings under Spanish GAAP.
• Consolidate monthly reports in line with IFRS.
• Review tax obligations: VAT, withholding tax, CIT; advise on tax queries.
• Assist in annual financial statements and FP&A tasks.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors.
