ABEI ENERGY, Madrid, seeks a Senior Accountant to own the full accounting cycle for a diverse project portfolio. You will ensure IFRS and Spanish GAAP compliance, oversee consolidation of project SPVs, intercompany eliminations, and treasury reporting, while coordinating with auditors and tax advisors.

You will work with ERP systems (Business Central / SAGE), handle VAT and CIT filings, and contribute to internal controls. English proficiency is required with additional language skills valued.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 2–3 years of accounting or audit experience; renewable energy or project finance background desirable.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and familiarity with Spanish GAAP (PGC).
• Advanced English, written and spoken; a third language is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end accounting cycle: journal entries, reconciliations, month-end and year-end close.
• Lead preparation and presentation of annual accounts under IFRS and Spanish GAAP.
• Manage tax compliance: VAT, CIT, withholding taxes, filings with AEAT and EU authorities.
• Consolidate project SPVs, perform intercompany eliminations, and compute minority interests.
• Oversee invoicing and payments for domestic and international operations.
• Maintain accounting records in Business Central / SAGE and support treasury reports.
