In addition, we have taken over the international project business of VAMED Engineering. VAMED's global expertise in healthcare engineering and project execution further strengthens WWH's forward-looking approach to healthcare infrastructure development, combining decades of proven experience in delivering large-scale projects with WWH's innovative, modular, and scalable solutions for building and operating modern healthcare facilities.

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our Madrid Finance Hub and develop a coordinated approach to international tax compliance, tax risk management and cross-border transactions.

Supporting headquarters, subsidiaries and branch offices worldwide, you will work with local finance teams and external tax advisers to strengthen tax processes, improve visibility over tax obligations and support sound decision-making across the group.

  • Identify tax exposures and implement appropriate remediation and monitoring measures.
  • Coordinate transfer pricing policies and documentation for intercompany services, financing and other group transactions.
  • Assess tax implications of cross-border transactions, new entities, branches, contracts and reorganisations.
  • Coordinate tax positions and supporting documentation for financial reporting, including current and deferred taxes where applicable.
  • Manage tax inspections, enquiries and audits with local advisers.
  • Define tax requirements for ERP systems, tax codes, master data and invoicing controls.

  • Collaborate with Accounting, HR/Payroll and HQ Treasury on relevant tax matters.
Requirements

  • Experience coordinating tax advisers across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Solid experience with transfer pricing and the tax implications of intercompany and cross-border transactions.
  • Experience managing tax enquiries, identifying exposures and implementing corrective actions.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate taxation, indirect taxes, withholding taxes and transfer pricing.

  • Professional proficiency in English and fluency in Spanish.
  • Professional German is a strong advantage.
  • Strong technical judgement, attention to detail and the ability to communicate tax matters clearly to business stakeholders.
What You Can Expect
  • An international tax role covering multiple jurisdictions and a broad range of corporate tax matters.
  • The opportunity to establish and strengthen group tax processes and controls.
  • Collaboration with international finance teams and specialist local advisers.
  • The opportunity to contribute directly to tax risk visibility and the development of the group's finance operating model.
