IAV Vehicle Safety in Spain seeks recent graduates with a master's or doctorate in a technical field to join an interdisciplinary, international team. You will create test specifications, implement automation routines, and work with HiL environments across vehicles and prototypes while producing detailed test reports.

• Master’s or doctorate in controls, electronics, mechatronics, information technology or a related field.
• Well-structured and target oriented approach with strong analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of signal conditioning and processing.
• Proficiency in programming and familiarity with various programming languages.
• Ability to independently coordinate tasks with diverse teams across IAV.

• You update vehicles and prototypes and adapt HiL testing environments
• You perform testing activities in vehicles, prototypes and HiL systems including fault analysis and the creation of test reports
• You analyze and handle complex processes and mechatronic systems
• You develop model based solution approaches using both classical and new methods
• You develop new control engineering concepts related to physical problems
• You translate these concepts into series ready algorithms suitable for control units
• You review detailed software designs
• You create software code in C or model based software code
• You execute functional software tests
• You review software code or model based code implementations

Necessary Skills

• Master’s or doctorate in controls, electronics, mechatronics, information technology or a related field
• Demonstrates a well structured and strongly target oriented approach combined with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
• Possesses a solid understanding of signal conditioning and processing
• Shows proficiency in programming and familiarity with various programming languages
• Able to independently coordinate tasks while maintaining close collaboration with diverse teams across IAV

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of, or practical experience with following tools: Confluence, JIRA, CANOE, Diagnostic- and Test-Management-Tools, TargetLink
• Basic understanding of SW testing processes, methodologies and HIL systems
• Basic knowledge of vehicle architectures/vehicle network and systems engineering
• Basic knowledge about embedded software testing (black box, regression...)
