Job summary

BME - Bolsas y Mercados Españoles, part of SIX group, is seeking a System Controller in Madrid with remote work up to 40%. The role focuses on second-level support, automation of tasks, and collaboration with IT applications and business teams.

The ideal candidate has a IT-related degree, strong OS knowledge, and experience with containerized apps (Kubernetes) and DevOps tools. Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Morning to afternoon shifts rotate as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or Higher Education Certificate in Information Technology or similar.
• Advanced OS knowledge (Linux and Windows).
• Containerized application management (K8s).
• DevOps practices and tools understanding is valuable.

Responsibilities

System Controller

BME is part of the SIX group (with headquarter in Zurich, Switzerland) and forms a critical part of the Spanish financial infrastructure. Are you enthusiastic about exciting projects in the financial industry and would like to work in a self-organized environment where collaboration, trust, and innovation are paramount? Then become part of our Post Trade IT Operations department. We are looking for a bright mind to help us move forward in giving best support as a System Controller who will work in a global environment joining our multicultural team which provides first and second level support to our Business Unit applications.

What You Will Do

• Provide 2nd level support (application troubleshooting)
• Implement automation for specific tasks and processes
• Interact with IT application and Business teams

What You Bring

• Bachelor Degree or Higher Education Certificate in Information Technology or similar
• Advanced OS knowledge (linux and windows)
• Containerized application management (OCP/K8S)
• DevOps practices and tools understanding will be valuable
• Automation experience (Ansible, CI/CD, etc.) will also be positively considered
• Willingness to work on a rotating schedule, including morning to afternoon shifts
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish
