Jobtailor is seeking a sustainability regulatory lead to drive global compliance for environmental regulations and market access. You will partner with cross-functional teams, oversee regulatory insights, and prepare monthly reviews.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in packaging sustainability or compliance, strong data skills, and excellent English communication. The role requires coordinating teams across regions in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, environmental science or related field.
• Knowledge of ESG, recycling, circular economy and related topics.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience using data and AI tools for insights.
• Proficient English written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Act as packaging sustainability SME for customer inquiries and requirements.
• Collaborate with product stewards to drive sustainability strategies across functions.
• Monitor industry trends, technologies, and competitor landscape.

Responsibilities

• Act as key operational partner for regulatory compliance for sustainability.
• Drive day-to-day execution and provide regulatory insights.
• Ensure global compliance of HP products with environmental regulations and market access requirements.
• Maintain visibility on regulations, trends, implementation status, risks, and challenges across regions.
• Prepare and support monthly compliance reviews and reporting.
• Track and resolve off-track items, driving actions and mitigation plans.
• Support the development and quality of Working Assumptions and regulatory interpretations.
• Act as packaging sustainability SME for customer inquiries and requirements.
• Collaborate with HP product stewards to set and drive HP’s sustainability strategies and goals across functions.
• Monitor industry trends, technologies, and competitor landscape.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, Environmental Science or related field.
• Knowledge and understanding of sustainability topics (ESG, recycling, circular economy, etc.)
• Strong project management skills
• Using data and AI tools
• Typically, 2+ years’ experience in packaging design, sustainability, compliance or with relevant work experience.
• Desirable: experience/specialist knowledge of Extended Producer Responsibility (including WEEE and Batteries), Packaging or Product Repair & Longevity
• Proven project management skills to lead projects and programs with team members from diverse technical backgrounds.
• Ability to collaborate successfully, coordinating and directing virtual, matrixed teams and resources to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and solve complex problems.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English.
• Willingness to thrive in an ambiguous and dynamic environment.
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Self‑motivated to make progress towards goals autonomously as needed.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience or understanding of productivity software and tools, including AI, Power BI, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, results, and requests at the senior management level.
