Coty in Barcelona is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to support end-to-end planning across a dedicated product portfolio, market, supplier base, manufacturing network, or business area. You will use data, SAP, and stakeholder collaboration to anticipate risks, drive decisions, and ensure service, inventory, and operational objectives are achieved.

You will report to a Planning Manager and work with Planning, Operations, and Commercial teams in a fast-paced, international environment.

Formación

  • Bachelor-level degree or higher in a supply chain, operations, analytics, or related field.
  • Strong planning and supply chain fundamentals with experience in planning, operations, logistics, forecasting, or supply chain environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage ambiguity, and prioritize effectively.
  • Fluent English and experience working with SAP.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Power BI.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor planning activities across demand, supply, materials, distribution, and lifecycle processes.
  • Balance service, inventory, cost, and constraints to support objectives.
  • Monitor planning performance through KPIs and metrics and drive mitigation actions.
  • Analyze trends, forecasts, and performance data to inform decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Commercial, and Finance.

About The Department

Within the Supply Chain function sit our Planning teams. With a population of over three hundred people, these teams form a purpose‑built Global Hub covering a wide range of planning activities, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Planning, Distribution Planning, Innovation Planning, and Product Lifecycle Management.

The organization operates in a centralized and standardized way, sharing best practices across markets to deliver industry‑leading service, optimal inventory levels, operational excellence, and successful product launches across our global portfolio.

Our Planning teams play a critical role in connecting business strategy with operational execution, ensuring the right products are available at the right time, in the right place, and at the right cost.

THE ROLE

OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!

As our Supply Chain Planner, you will play a key role in supporting end‑to‑end planning activities across a dedicated product portfolio, market, supplier base, manufacturing network, or business area.

You will use data, systems, and stakeholder collaboration to anticipate risks, drive decision‑making, and ensure service, inventory, and operational objectives are achieved.

You will be reporting to a Planning Manager and may be involved in:

Planning & Operational Excellence
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor planning activities across demand, supply, materials, distribution, innovation, or lifecycle processes.
  • Ensure business requirements are translated into robust and actionable plans.
  • Balance service, inventory, cost, and operational constraints to support business objectives.
  • Monitor planning performance through KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and exceptions and drive mitigation actions.
  • Support operational execution while maintaining a long‑term planning perspective.
Data Analysis & Decision Support
  • Analyze business trends, forecasts, supply chain performance, and operational data.
  • Translate insights into recommendations and actions that improve planning outcomes.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and support issue resolution.
  • Leverage digital tools and planning systems to improve visibility and decision‑making.
  • Support continuous improvements through data‑driven recommendations.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Markets, and other global stakeholders.
  • Participate in regular business reviews and planning meetings.
  • Communicate planning assumptions, risks, opportunities, and recommendations clearly and effectively.
  • Build strong relationships across functions and act as a trusted planning partner.
  • Contribute to successful project execution, product launches, portfolio changes, and business initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation
  • Support process standardization and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to best‑practice implementation.
  • Drive efficiencies through systems, automation, and digital capabilities.
  • Adapt to new tools, technologies, and ways of working within a transforming planning environment.

Must‑Haves
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Analytics, Operations, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Strong planning and supply chain fundamentals, or relevant experience in planning, operations, logistics, forecasting, or supply chain environments.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand how decisions impact commercial and operational performance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage ambiguity, and prioritize effectively.
  • Curious, agile, and eager to continuously learn and improve.
  • Fluent English and experienced working with SAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Power BI.
