GE Vernova in Zamudio (Basque Country) seeks an Industrial Engineering intern to support control panel manufacturing across stages: picking, assembly, wiring, conductivity and verification. You will work with production managers and operators to collect data and help improve processes.
The role requires an Industrial Engineering degree (desirable), basic English, and a commitment of at least 30 hours/week for up to one year, with potential to study concurrently.
Job Description Summary Intern will support in the manufacturing area of control panel manufacturing in different process stages (materials picking, assembly, wiring, conductivity and hipot verification). His/her main contact will be with the production managers and production along with operators and subcontractors.
Degree or similar of Industrial Engineering (desirable in local universities or within Spain). Ideal to have a candidate that can sustain a conversation in English (mid-level). Driving license and vehicle. If contracted in Spain: Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.
Support of at least 30 hours/week, within a year. Candidate can simultaneously study and perform internship at GE Vernova Candidate should have following characteristics: analytical, critical, willing to learn, must have positive attitude & ask questions. Strong communication, self-motivational, and customer service skills Handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills
