Job summary

Flowserve Chile S.p.A. is seeking a Supplier Analyst to oversee the strategic performance, risk prioritization, and operational health of 200 portfolio suppliers in Madrid area.

You will act as the link between Category Management and Business Units with Supplier Technicians, using data and scorecards to drive cost consolidation and contract alignment. The role emphasizes supplier health, risk mitigation, and governance across shared vendors, requiring strong negotiation and project management

Responsibilities

• Supplier Strategy & Execution: Oversee 200 suppliers; analyze spend and performance data; support segmentation and supplier plans; ensure contractual compliance; monitor capacity and lead times.
• Supplier Health Management: Manage supplier performance; mitigate risk; update risk entries; coordinate escalations and maintain master data.
• Operational Support: Partner with BU/site leadership to resolve issues; facilitate communication between suppliers, technicians, and category management; consolidate escalations; ensure governance across vendors.
• Core Objectives: Execute supplier plans; drive performance and risk mitigation; maintain contractual coverage; prioritize high-risk suppliers; coordinate data-driven actions with technicians.

Role Summary: The Supplier Analyst oversees the strategic performance, risk prioritization, and operational health of 200 portfolio suppliers. Acting as the critical link between Category Management and Business Units alongside Supplier Technicians, this role uses data analysis and scorecards to drive scalability, cost consolidation, contract compliance, and global strategy alignment.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Supplier Strategy & Execution: Day-to-day oversight of 200 suppliers; analyze spend/performance data to support segmentation and high-level Supplier Plans; recommend spend consolidation; run business reviews; ensure contractual compliance; monitor capacity and lead times.
• Supplier Health Management: Action supplier performance (delivery, quality, cost, competitiveness); mitigate risk and update SC Risk App entries; coordinate internal escalations and bottlenecks; maintain accurate master data and alternate sourcing options.
• Operational Support: Partner with BU/site leadership to resolve routine issues; gather data to facilitate communication between suppliers, Supplier Technicians, and Category Management; consolidate MOR escalations; ensure consistent governance across shared vendors.
• Core Objectives: Execute Supplier Plans; drive performance/risk mitigation; maintain contractual coverage; prioritize high-risk suppliers; coordinate data-driven actions with Supplier Technicians.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• 4+ years of Supply Chain experience; Certified Supply Chain Professional preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, project management, and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of category supply bases and market dynamics; hybrid commercial-technical supply chain understanding.
