Flowserve Corporation in Madrid is seeking a service supervisor to manage all site operations, oversee the profit and loss, and expand the service potential while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

You will lead a team, optimize KPIs, coordinate with sales for new business, and drive process improvements in a global setting with travel required.

Formación

• University degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar.
• Willingness to communicate with production sites and service centers in an international environment.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a team and oversee site operations.
• Optimize operational KPIs and the P&L for the site.
• Support existing customers and acquire new customers in coordination with the sales department.
• Conduct sales talks and close orders and service contracts.
• Interface with internal engineering, external service providers, purchasing, quality and other service locations.
• Report key figures in an international environment.

Role Summary

As a service supervisor you are responsible for the management of all operational aspects and for the profit and loss account for a site. You will also be responsible for expanding and exploiting the service potential as well as ensuring and increasing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Management of a team
• Ensuring and optimizing the operational KPIs
• Support of existing customers and acquisition of new customers in coordination with the sales department
• Conducting sales talks and concluding orders and service contracts
• Monitoring and responsibility of the profit and loss account for a site
• Optimization and continuous improvement of process flows in the service department
• Initiation of projects to increase efficiency
• Active participation in the development and implementation of innovative service processes
• Interface management with internal engineering, external service providers, purchasing, quality and other service location
• Evaluation and reporting of operational key figures in an international environment
• Enforcement of safety and quality expectations
• Support in operational tasks from the Service Manager Germany
• Representation of the Service Manager Germany
• Supervision of international intercompany business
• Support of international training initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Successfully completed university studies in the field of mechatronics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar
• Willingness to communicate with colleagues at production sites and service centers in an international environment
• Basic plant and process knowledge of pump technology and vacuum technology
• Several years of professional and management experience, preferably in the field of service and customer support
• Very good written and spoken English skills and willingness to travel internationally are a prerequisite
• High quality awareness, commitment and high flexibility as well as resilience and customer orientation
• Good PC and MS Office skills
• Experience with SAP
• Independent, team-oriented work
• Overall entrepreneurial mindset
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience
