GMV in Tres Cantos is looking for an experienced project manager to oversee subcontractors for satellite Ground Control Segment and Navigation projects. Responsibilities include managing workplans, technical control, and organizing project reviews.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in project management within space or similar domains, and must excel in communication in English. The position offers a hybrid working model with competitive compensation and a relocation package.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our team you will be responsible over several Subcontractors within satellite Ground Control Segment or Navigation Programmes. You will manage the following functions:

• Programme consortiums organization
• Contractual set up and workplans definition.
• Managerial and programmatic control: schedule, risks, deliverables, compliance, payments, contractual
• Technical control: support the engineering teams in the flow down of technical requirements and technical reviews (design, validation, etc).
• Organization and witnessing of Project reviews and technical meetings, including progress meetings, formal reviews and audits, with the subcontractors under his/her responsibility.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for experts in project management covering systems and HW and/or SW engineering within space or similar domains with management and leadership skills, and at least 5 years of experience.

Experience on Space Ground Control or Navigation projects and excellent communication oral and written in English.

We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in subcontractor management, knowledge of contractual management and additional languages beyond English.
