Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a professional to support Test Preparation, Realization & Result Analysis. The role involves static, fatigue, damage tolerance and load measurement testing, coordinating documentation, inspections, and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders at multiple levels.

The candidate will define test instrumentation, track tool manufacturing, and provide technical support for assembly, planning and execution across the testing process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business administration, security management or engineering.
• Advanced level of Spanish and English (verbal and written).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• A proactive mindset with urgency under pressure; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test load programs and actuator loads.
• Issue documents (Test Plan & Test Results).
• Ensure test specifications are followed and conduct tests during execution.
• Define and document manufacturing and assembly of test tools and ensure integrity of all elements.
• Prepare and coordinate inspections and instrumentations for test.
• Provide technical support and verify mechanical assembly.
• Create global test planning across processes.

An opportunity for Test Preparation, Realization & Result Analysis (HAS arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join to the Test Preparation, Realization & Result Analysis area

RESPONSIBILITIES

Static, fatigue, damage tolerance, stiffness, bird impact, calibration for in-flight load measurement & dynamic tests:

• Prepare the test load program-actuator loads.
• Issue the documents (Test Plan & Test Results)
• Control the accomplishment of the test specifications and the fullilment of the specification, playing the role of conduction of the test in the execution phase.
• Define, perform, control and issue the necessary documentation for the manufacture and mechanical assembly of the test, the analysis necessary to guaranty the integrity of all elements and tools that are designed.
• Prepare and coordinate the inspections
• Participate in the definition of the test instrumentation for in-flight load measurements, being the responsable for the obtaining of the expressions for determination of the loads
• Perform the tracking, control and final approval of the manufacturing of all parts of the tools (technical aspects)
• Perform the documentation of the test specimen instrumentation
• Give the technical support and verify the mechanical assembly
• Prepare the global planning of the tests throughout all the process

SKILLS

Bachelor degree in business administration, security management or engineering. Advanced level of Spanish and English (verbal and written). Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong Problem-solving skills to assess security risks and provide recommendations. Strategic and analytical skills. Proactivity approach to identify potential security risks and challenges; A proactive mindset with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to thrive under pressure. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
