Job summary

EY GDS Spain in Málaga invites a proactive Strategy Analyst – Junior to join our team. You will conduct business and financial research to back strategic and transaction projects, gather insights, and prepare executive presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.

You should have a degree in engineering, economics, or finance, plus a keen interest in strategy and a high level of English and Spanish. A Masters and knowledge of Power Query/Power BI are desirable.

Strategy Analyst - Junior - EY GDS Spain

The opportunity

As a member of our team in GDS office in Malaga, Spain, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on the interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You will work hand in hand with the EY Spain team focus in EY-P. Whether it’s digital transformation, sector convergence and dislocation, or financial and operational complexities, EY-Parthenon teams bring data analytics, leading technology and digital capabilities to a CEO’s toughest strategic issues.

Your Key Responsibilities

Conducting business and financial research to support strategic and transaction-related projects, supporting commercial due diligence engagements and transformation initiatives

Gathering and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information to generate actionable business insights.

Preparing executive-level presentations, reports and business cases for clients and internal stakeholders.

Skills And Attributes For Success

High Analictics professionals

Very good knowledge of MS-Office, incl. Excel and PowerPoint.

Outstanding research, strong analytical and synthesis skills and executive storytelling

Very flexible, pragmatic and resilient.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance or similar.

Knowledge and interest in strategy.

High level in English (C1) and Spanish.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Masters in Strategy, Management, or Consulting.

Knowledge Power Query, Power-BI, VBA

Work experience 6 months up to 3 years.

Knowledge in other languages (French, German, Portuguese).
