EY GDS Spain in Malaga seeks a Senior Manager to shape technology-driven strategies across international engagements. The role sits at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and business development, collaborating with senior stakeholders and Partners to deliver transformative solutions.

The position is hybrid (two days in the Malaga office) and requires strong business acumen, broad tech insight, and confidence with C-level audiences. English fluency is essential.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience within a Big Four, consulting firm, or technology advisory environment.
• Proven experience in IT Strategy, Technology Consulting, Digital Transformation, or Technology Advisory.
• Experience supporting or leading pre-sales, proposal development, business development, or commercial activities.
• Strong experience engaging with senior client stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
• Broad understanding of technology architecture, IT operating models, and business technology alignment.
• Experience working across large and complex transformation portfolios.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Join EY GDS Spain as a Senior Manager in Technology Strategy & Consulting and become a key contributor to high-impact international engagements. This role offers a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and business development, working directly with senior stakeholders, Partners, and clients to shape technology-driven solutions.

Location & Working Arrangements

As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga under a hybrid system (two times per week in the office), you will collaborate closely with other teams, supporting strategic consulting engagements, technology transformation initiatives, and business development opportunities. This is a high-level consulting role that requires strong business acumen, broad technology understanding, and the ability to engage confidently with C-level stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support IT strategy and technology consulting engagements across a variety of industries.
• Participate in business development, sales, and pre-sales activities, helping shape proposals and client solutions.
• Understand client needs and translate business challenges into technology-enabled recommendations and transformation roadmaps.
• Advise clients on areas such as IT strategy, operating models, technology governance, and application landscapes.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 10+ years of experience within a Big Four, consulting firm, or technology advisory environment.
• Proven experience in IT Strategy, Technology Consulting, Digital Transformation, or Technology Advisory.
• Experience supporting or leading pre-sales, proposal development, business development, or commercial activities.
• Strong experience engaging with senior client stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
• Broad understanding of technology architecture, IT operating models, and business technology alignment.
• Experience working across large and complex transformation portfolios.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Intermediate or advanced level of French or German.
• Experience within industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Consumer Products, or other complex enterprise environments.
• Exposure to Enterprise Architecture, Technology Strategy, Vendor Strategy, or Technology Operating Models.
• Experience working in international consulting environments.
• Relevant technology or consulting certifications.
