Leica Biosystems (a Danaher operating company) is seeking a Third Party Commodity Manager to guarantee a complete European portfolio by identifying external solutions when internal products don’t meet client needs. You will manage supplier onboarding, contracting and performance, ensuring regulatory compliance and competitive pricing.

Based in Italy with on-site work and up to 30% travel across Europe, you will interface with Sales, Tender, Applications and other functions to shape sourcing

Formación

• Professional procurement certification (MCIPS or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience, ideally within regulated industries (medical devices, IVD, diagnostics, life sciences).
• Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to supplier contracting in the medical / IVD space.
• Demonstrated success in supplier negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder management.
• Experience in supplier qualification and onboarding processes according to structured corporate standards (Danaher DBS or equivalent quality management systems).

Responsabilidades

• Identify third-party solutions where internal products do not fully meet customer needs to offer a complete portfolio across Europe.
• Manage end-to-end third-party supplier lifecycle: identification, qualification, onboarding, contracting and performance monitoring.
• Ensure all third-party products are certified, compliant, competitively priced and documented.
• Translate customer needs and portfolio gaps into clear sourcing strategies with Sales, Tender/Bid, Applications and internal functions.
• Maintain a centralized third-party product and supplier catalogue with full traceability of contracts, certifications, pricing and master data.
• Support continuous improvement, market analysis and category management to reduce risk and harmonize processes across EMEA.
