NEU Group in Spain is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Engineer to join its Supply Chain organization. The role focuses on developing sourcing strategies for mechanical components, composites, and machined parts, while managing supplier relationships across Spain and Europe.

You will work closely with Engineering to ensure manufacturability and readiness for production. The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background, 5+ years in strategic sourcing, and strong negotiation skills, with

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Development, or Supply Chain in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience sourcing composite materials and/or composite-manufactured components.
• Proven experience sourcing machined and precision-manufactured components.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and supplier capabilities.
• Proven experience negotiating production and supply agreements.
• Professional-level English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for mechanical components, composites, machined parts, and services.
• Identify, assess, qualify, and develop new suppliers across Spain and Europe.
• Manage RFQs, supplier selection, cost analysis, and commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate production contracts, pricing, lead times, capacity, and terms.
• Build and maintain a strong supplier network within manufacturing sectors.
• Collaborate with Engineering to evaluate supplier capabilities, manufacturability, and readiness.
• Lead sourcing projects from identification through production.
• Monitor supplier performance, capacity, quality, cost, and delivery.
