Job summary

Airbus Helicopters España, SA seeks a senior funding strategist to turn technology roadmaps into funded R&D programs in Spain. You will identify strategic public funding opportunities, build collaborative consortia, and secure financing for R&T projects, reporting to the Head of Engineering Spain.

You will coordinate with R&T teams, align roadmaps with funding mechanisms, and influence stakeholders across national and European bodies. A deep aerospace network and fluent English are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive track record in navigating European programs and national funding mechanisms.
• Strong aeronautical technical background with an understanding of complex engineering roadmaps.
• Fluent English with native Spanish language knowledge and deep understanding of Spanish institutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify strategic public funding opportunities across European, national, and regional landscapes.
• Lead capture strategies and prepare high‑quality proposals for R&D funding and procurement calls.
• Build and manage consortia with industrial partners, SMEs, universities and research centers.
• Coordinate with R&T teams to align roadmaps with funding mechanisms and ensure smooth handover to project execution.
