Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Strategic Project Manager to lead complex AI and strategic initiatives within Patient & Site Centric Solutions. You will translate strategy into clear plans, coordinate execution across functions and geographies, and drive measurable outcomes for the broader PSCS organization.

You bring a disciplined PMO background, strong business judgment and the ability to influence stakeholders in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Significant project, program or PMO experience within a CRO or life sciences organization.
• Strong understanding of the clinical research environment and operational challenges.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional strategic projects.
• Strong project planning, governance, risk management and execution capabilities.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders across functions and geographies.
• Stakeholder-management and influencing skills, including driving progress without direct authority.
• Experience supporting organizational change, operational effectiveness or process improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and validate project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and measures of success.
• Support the development and management of the PSCS AI strategy and translate into key projects and priorities.
• Build clear project plans and governance structures to support successful execution.
• Drive complex, cross-functional projects from planning through delivery, maintaining momentum, visibility and accountability.
• Manage project scope, timelines, resources and costs while navigating changing business priorities.
• Establish strong relationships with stakeholders across functions and business areas.
• Create alignment around project objectives, responsibilities, dependencies and expected outcomes.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders, ensuring teams remain connected and focused on agreed priorities.
• Communicate progress, risks, decisions and dependencies clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Proactively identify risks and potential barriers to delivery and develop mitigation plans.
• Apply structured project management methodologies and operational-effectiveness principles.
• Help teams establish practical ways of working that support successful project delivery.
• Assess how strategic initiatives will affect teams, processes and ways of working.
• Build awareness and support for change across the organization.
• Contribute to training, communication and adoption activities where appropriate.
• Evaluate project outcomes against agreed success measures.
• Identify opportunities to improve or redesign processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
