Job summary

BD in Barcelona seeks a Strategic Pricing Manager Interventional Europe to shape pricing strategy across Europe. You will partner with sales, marketing, finance, and operations to drive profitability and value realization.

You will lead pricing governance, regional councils, and cross-functional initiatives, delivering actionable pricing recommendations to senior leaders while coaching others to build pricing capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in pricing, commercial analytics, finance or related healthcare industry.
• Understand pricing governance, contract optimisation, and price performance management in a complex international organisation.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and implementation of pricing strategies for an assigned product portfolio, partnering with sales, marketing and finance leadership to align pricing priorities with business objectives.
• Lead regional pricing governance, including price corridors, approval processes and pricing exceptions.
• Chair the regional pricing council, providing insights, recommendations and follow-up on agreed actions.
• Identify revenue and margin improvement opportunities and drive actions with key stakeholders.
• Translate pricing, customer, and profitability analysis into clear, actionable pricing recommendations for senior leaders.
• Lead cross-functional pricing initiatives from identification through implementation.
• Support pricing decisions for high-value contracts and tenders.
• Act as the primary pricing subject matter expert for commercial, marketing and finance stakeholders, building pricing capability through training, coaching and decision support.
• Support the target setting process and report results vs key performance indicators.
• Drive continuous improvement of pricing tools, analytics and processes.

Job Description

As Strategic Pricing Manager Interventional Europe, you will play a key role in shaping pricing strategy and commercial decision-making across the Europe region.

Working within the Strategy and Commercial Excellence organization, you will partner with sales, marketing, finance and operations leaders to develop and implement pricing strategies that drive profitable growth and competitive advantage. You will support pricing governance, lead strategic pricing initiatives, and provide commercial decision support to business leaders across the region.

You will partner with the broader BD regional pricing organization in the development and deployment of enterprise pricing initiatives, co-creating process and tools while representing interventional business needs and priorities.

Through a combination of analytics, stakeholder influence and cross-functional leadership, you will help translate insights into actions that strengthen profitability, pricing discipline and value realization throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the development and implementation of pricing strategies for an assigned product portfolio, partnering with sales, marketing and finance leadership to align pricing priorities with business objectives.

• Lead regional pricing governance, including price corridors, approval processes and pricing exceptions

• Chair the regional pricing council, providing insights, recommendations and follow-up on agreed actions.

• Identify revenue and margin improvement opportunities and drive actions with key stakeholders.

• Translate pricing, customer, and profitability analysis, together with monitoring of pricing performance, competitive dynamics and market trends, into clear, actionable pricing recommendations for senior leaders.

• Lead cross-functional pricing initiatives from identification through implementation.
• Support pricing decisions for high-value contracts and tenders.
• Act as the primary pricing subject matter expert for commercial, marketing and finance stakeholders, building pricing capability through training, coaching and decision support..
• Support the target setting process and report results vs key performance indicators.

• Drive continuous improvement of pricing tools, analytics and processes.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent relevant experience.

• 5+ years of experience in pricing, commercial analytics, finance or a related discipline in healthcare or a related industry.

• Understand pricing governance, contract optimisation, and price performance management alongside experience developing or implementing pricing strategies within a complex, international organisation.

• Proficient in Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.

• Fluent English

Salary range for the role based in Italy: 60000 / 65000€ + variable pay + benefits. CCNL chimico-farmaceutico
